What to do near your Student Accommodation in Wood Green

Moving into your new student accommodation can be stressful, especially when you don’t know what to get up to in your free time in the new area.  

So, we’ve taken out the hard part and found some great spots to check out near our student accommodation, Wood Green Hall that’ll suit whatever mood you’re in for different days (and is also cost effective!)  


  1. Alexandra Palace is the place to be for a green, fresh air study space to enjoy and it is only a 20-minute walk away from your student accommodation. It’s a lovely place to go for a run or a power walk! See what you can get up to here, https://www.alexandrapalace.com/the-park/


  1. The All Good bookshop is a way to get involved in the community. It’s run by the community and is a great independent business which is known for its friendly and welcoming staff who will order in a book if they don’t sell it. It’s a 15-minute walk from Wood Green Hall so an easy and mind clearing stroll to take – so important for student living.   1. Café Corso is an ideal cosy place to grab tasty food with a great outdoor area to soak in the sun with your new flatmates and get to know each other over one of their infamous home-baked quiches!   1. Mooboo anyone? Treat yourself and pick up a tasty treat from Mooboo and explore the local area or dine in. The huge number of flavours of milk and fruit bubble teas on offer will leave you spoilt for choice, especially when it’s only a 7-minute walk away.   1. The Wood Green high-street is filled with different shops all packed with clothes and homeware for you to explore and various cafés and restaurants for that much needed break in-between shopping! It’s a 6-minute walk from Wood Green and a great place to take a break between study sessions.
